A few days ago, when I was walking through the school gates to go to class, I thought about my first day ever as a student here in João XXIII. The ironic part is that I forgot about mostly everything, but there're still tiny pieces of that special day hidden somewhere. I can still picture my brand new Little Mermaid's backpack (the first one I've ever had with wheels) and my mom by my side, encouraging me. I don't remember most of my classmates from that day or who I interected with and who I didn't. I don't even remember coming home from school, neither what were my impressions as a six-but-almost-seven years student after the very first day of  the next ten years of my life.
Whenever I try to picture other moments, from different days or years, anything at all, there are just a lot of flashback memories coming all at once, like a dejavu. I can't possibly think about a single moment in school since I've had so many in here, this very same school with its bricks and walls and windows and trees that saw me grow from that little girl with almost seven years caring a Disney wheel backpack to the person I am today, turning eighteen in six months.
When your memories and experiences are so connected to a place, you can't possibly choose the best one. I've lived here so many beautiful moments (and sad ones too), friendships were made and not all of them rested. I met people in here that I know I'll have for the rest of my life, as much as people I'll probably never see again. That's the thing about this place to me. It's not about a single story or a specific moment - it's pretty much my entire life. When I'm not even thinking about anything in particular, a memory pops into my mind from my childhood days. I think about all the amazing people that make this place go: all the teachers, who certainly opened up my mind about so many things and helped me question and realize what I didn't even know was there, and all the staff, that without a question are honorable people that work really hard to make João XXIII a better place.
When I think about leaving this school, I don't know what's going to happen, if I'm going to miss coming here every single day or if I'm going to be just fine. I can't know for sure what I'm going to miss the most, all I know is that I'm greatful for my parentes choosing this place, I'm greatful for growing up here.

I can say that my best phase in my all life is when I started to study in this school. All my friends that I've met there will be forever in my mind and in my heart. All of us will follow different roads and lose contact with each other. Maybe we won't talk with someone, but we'll always remember what we lived there and all of our experiences. Won't be easy say goodbye after so many times looking at all our faces in the morning, I started there since 3 years ago, but my heart feels like I met all of their since ever. I just have to say thank you for this year that I can see they are my second family and will be so hard to have to separate of my host brothers and sisters. I wish they have a lot of success in all of their lives, because all of us have defects, but our qualities are so bigger than our faults that our defects disappear. So I have to say thank you to make my year the best phase of my life. "we're all in this together"

Thirteen years ago I was starting my school life at João XXIII. Years passed and now I realized the importance of this school to me. That place has always been my second home because I feel  that a have almost a family there. I used to wakeup every single weekday with the intention to go to the school. That routine will be over in some days and I can't imagine how my life will be without it. It's almost unbelievable that next year me and my friends won't be together anymore.

At João XXIII I learned not only the subjects, but also to develop myself as human and to comprehend other people's point of views. We learned to deal with our problems and to help others. There I met my best friends and people who make me feel as a better person. João XXIII is, definitely a different school, where teachers can be our friends and friends, our teachers.

Most of all my memories and stories happened at this place. After all laughs, cries and emotions that I had during this years, I'll only keep with me the best the ones. In just a few weeks my class will be graduating and I'm very thankful to this school and to the opportunity to live all the moments that I've lived there.

I went into the john 15 years ago. When I entered the João XXIII had not yet marternal, then went straight to the Joãozinho Legal. I met dani (my best friend at the time), but she left the school in the fifth grade ):. It was the time of the courtyard, the nap time, drawing, and when I went to first grade changed everything! I had no courtyard ,nap and I remember I was pretty upset) :.

The move from fifth to fourth also gave a shocked hahaha 6 new teachers and materials was very at that time. Only I did not know that the first would appear over 10. But that's okay, we get used.

Have teachers who knew me from little baby and my affection for them is out of this world !! i AM going to remember them for ever s2s2s2s2

In the second year came one of the most important people in my life, Isabela Ferracini. I talked to a lot of my friends who did not speak for a while and now it's just love!
All competitions, playgrounds, playing among millions and things I went into the john will stay in my memory, and will be saved with great affection.
I'm going to really miss everyone and hope that from now on only joy for us!!

The school is a place where people spend most of their days. Because of that, there, we discover a lot of things and, at the same time, we share them with people who became our friends with the pass of the years. There are many fiendship bonds and histories that arised since the beginnig of this path, but there is a moment in our lifes that the bridge which connects those people with you all days collapses and the communication each other become something very difficult. This moment is the end of the school. This moment is very hard to me to accept because we all got accustomed to talk and live with people that we might not see again with the frequency that we used to. Nevertheless, alltough years pass, i know that all moments of sadness, happiness, nervousness and all the other feelings you can imagine will stay with me forever because they represent good times that shall not back again. I will miss João XXIII a lot!

A Short Story

I guess life is an agglomeration of corny facts and high school is the biggest one. And that is exactly when my (short) story at João 23 started.
I joined the school almost three years ago and as one of the new girls I had some adaptation problems that almost made me change schools. But in a plot twist I was invited to join GEJ and thanks to that I met my best friends.
This invitation changed all my plans and made my second and third year at the school amazing. I've realized I've been on the right place with the most amazing people I could ever have by my side.
When I decided to change to Joao 23 I couldn't imagine all the amazing things that happened to me during this short period of time. I'm so thankful for everything I've learned there and I know that nobody can take what I learn there away from me 'cause this school became my second house and my friends there my new family. A huge part of my heart will always belong to this place.
Thanks to all the amazing teachers I had and, especially, to my friends I hope we never lose each other.
Love.

I was asked, a few weeks ago, about my favorite school memories, a story I might want share or simply my thoughts on my eleven school years and I have (once again) waited until the last minute to post it. The reason behind this, besides my clear tendency to procrastinate, was that I could never be sure of my opinion about school, but now it's about time I cleared my head.

Even though the past few years have been certainly the toughest I've had so far, I can't deny the amazing impacts school has had in my life. Some of the friends I made, for exemple, are just the most genuine I could ever find and they are, definately, the reason I've been so happy and so excited about everything (as they say) through the years I spent with them.

Besides my school friends, I feel sorry for leaving the people that really inspired me since the beginning: my teachers. We all have our favorite teachers, our favorite friends and our favorite cookies, just as they (as much as they deny) have theirs, and some of my teachers are actually some of my favorite people. Some of them changed my life, took me out of my comfort zone and made me grow, and I really admire and thank them for it.

Here comes my dilemma: as much as I want to grow and live my dreams, how can I ever move on and live without these people in my life, when they have always been my support, my confidents, my family? My hole life I spent with them: for eleven years I've met them every week day and now I'm supposed to let them go and live my life. "You don't have to stop seeing them!", you may say, but I've been through it, I know how it works: as much as you try to keep contact, people go separate ways and they simply get over you.

As much as I try to avoid this subject and as much as I want to run through the front doors celebrating my first "free" moments in years, truth be told, I don't think I will ever forget or not miss what might have been the best time of my life.
