The Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) is a public university linked to the Aeronautics Command (COMAER). It is located in the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DCTA), in São Paulo city of Sao Jose dos Campos. Specializing in science and technology in the aerospace sector, such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics, Civil-Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. In addition, undergraduate students receive free education and food over the five-year course, plus housing on campus itself.

*How is the exam organized?

The exam is organized from 5 subjects with evidence containing 30 questions each ( 20 in portuguese), and one writting test.

*What are the subjects?

These subjects are: Portuguese, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

*How many questions? What kind?

30 questions per subject( It is in the exact, 20 objective questions and 10 discursive, but in português only 20 objectives questions) , and one writting test.

*How many days?

The test is carried out for 4 days.
Tuesday: Physics; * 08:00 - 12:00
Wednesday: Portuguese and English;* 08:00 - 12:00
Thursday: Mathematics;* 08:00 - 12:00
Friday: Chemistry.* 08:00 - 12:00

*When is the subscription?

The subscription to perform the test this year was on 08/12/2015

*When is the test?

The race starts on 15/12 and runs until 18/12

B. English Exam:

*The multiple choice questions, assess the candidate's ability to predict the content, knowing the meaning, recognize vocabulary in different contexts and also identify the essential grammatical structures for understanding the content shown.

*There is presence of cartoons, all of them with some social commentary (bullying, prejudice and traffic).

*The areas/topics are more common are Tecnology in general (mainly about airplanes), environmental issues and questions about everyday life .

* In texts is often asked about the meaning of some terms and expressions or words, as well as possible changes to keep the same direction and gaps in the text to be completed at the end of the question, and each text submitted in evidence is used by more than one problem, and of various sizes.

*The vocabulary is rather extensive, taking up little-known ethnic groups of words, ie words or expressions very restricted to certain countries, but in general the person know several of the expressions that are inferred.

*The translation is done in a simple manner and that the student can understand with ease.

* Manly the questions ask about the meaning of some word or expression and what is correct out the text. 

*Suggestions for the English test: know the meaning and synonymous with conjunctions;
practice reading so that the interpretation is encouraged;

* Peculiarity: Some questions ask for the wrong answer about the text or gramar and have words unknown and The wording has not handout, only one image, however most of the time it's easy to understand what the topic requested by the bank.

Botelho a worthy Award Winner 

This year, Brazil and the world have been celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first flight at a public event by Brazilian Alberto Santos-Dumont.
With his imminent retirement next April as president and chief executive officer of Embraer, Mauricio Botelho must be seen as another Brazilian aviation hero, one who turned a small money-losing company into a vibrant world-class aircraft manufacturer.
Botelho spent the first 15 years of his working career at Embraer before leaving to pursue other opportunities. When he returned in 1995, Embraer had been privatised and was embarking on production and delivery of its first regional jets, several years behind competitor Bombardier.
The Embraer ERJ-145 had its maiden flight just weeks before Botelho came on board. First delivery was in late 1996, and the company has never looked back. Nearly 1,000 aircraft
based on the ERJ-145 platform have been delivered to 87 operators around the world. A decate on, the ERJ-145 program has reached the 10 million flight-hour milestone.
Under Botelho’s leadship, Embraer has had a penchant for seizing market opportunities. It saw an unfilled market niche for aircraft seating 70-110, and its four-model 170/190 program has won 731 orders to date from airlines around the world.
Embraer also used the ERJ platform to develop an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance aircraft, and to produce the Legacy, its first foray into business jets. It is now raking in orders for three other business aircraft in development.
Botelho’s “legacy” is a dynamic company, one of Brazil’s leading exporters, investing in its employees and technology to produce top-notch aircraft.
