UFRGS' Exam - Carolina, Lucas, Luciano, Natalia - 3A

The UFRGS' exam is applied in Porto Alegre and in the university beach campus in Tramandai, on January 10, 11, 12 and 13.
The exam has 25 multiple-choice questions of each subject. 
They are arranged as: Physics, literature and modern foreign language in the first day, Portuguese and a writting text in the second day, biology, chemistry and geography in the third day and history and mathematics in the forth day.



English Exam


  • READING COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS


-The most comum types of texts are Article, songs or poems. In the 2015 exam, there were 2 articles and 1 poem
-The most comum topics are about modern life, globalization and global sistem.
-We should have a previous knowledge about globalization and the multiculturalizaion of information, and it's interesting to understand "how does it work". We also should be used to read and comprehend poems.
-The focus of the questions is about the main objective of the text, the function of that information that we received.
-There is not a pattern to be followed, it depends of what information the text brings to us.
-To master these questions we simple have to study and read more text about our cotidian and analyze this kind of information


  • VOCABULARY QUESTIONS


- Most of the vocabulary questions are about replacement, punctuation and translation.
-The level of the questions is easy.
-Mostof the questions are in portuguese and the alternatives too.
-The questions are easy and you have to pay attention to the text.




  • GRAMMAR QUESTIONS


-The mainly questions are about sentence structure mostly, grammatical changes (punctuation marks), changing the sentence structure without compromising your meaning or grammatical repairing.
-The most commum topics are: Rewrite a sentence, use of nouns, use of pronouns and formation of the noun.
-With an intermediate level we can have a nice score
-All the grammatical questions are related to the text, even its title.
-There’s one peculiarity about formation of a noun. Orientalism , altruism.
